What is Non-Standard Packaging Surcharge?

At UrShipper, we strive to ensure smooth and efficient shipping experiences for all our customers. However, certain packaging weights, dimensions, or characteristics may incur additional charges to cover handling and processing - as our carrier/delivery partner has to treat the package differently than the rest.

Criteria for Non-Standard Packaging

• Measures more than 121 cm on its longest side, 76 cm on its second-longest side, or more than 266 cm of length and girth combined (Length + (2 x Width) + (2 x Height)).

• Weighs more than 31 kg.

• The content/item isn't completely encased in an outer packaging.

• Is encased in hard outer packaging made of materials other than corrugated fiberboard/cardboard box (like metal, wood, hard plastic, or expanded polystyrene foam/styrofoam).

• Is wrapped in a soft outer shipping container other than FedEx Pak (like, canvas, leather, soft plastic, or your own polymailer).

• Is covered with shrink wrap, stretch wrap, bubble wrap, or too much tape.

• Is round or cylindrical (like mailing tubes, cans, or barrels).

• Is secured with metal, plastic, or cloth bands, or has wheels, handles, or straps.

• Could get tangled or cause damage to other packages or the sorting system.

How much is the Non-Standard Packaging Surcharge?

UrShipper applies a surcharge of IDR 431,000 per shipment for non-standard packaging.

Note: Non-Standard Packaging Surcharge are subject to Fuel Surcharge and VAT
