New to international shipping? Don't worry. While international shipping introduces extra steps like customs clearances, UrShipper makes the process straightforward.
Follow this step-by-step guide to prepare, pack, and send your shipments worldwide.
1. Verify Your Items Can Be Shipped
Unlike domestic deliveries, international packages must clear customs twice: once when leaving the origin country, and again upon entering the destination country.
Before you begin:
Check Restrictions: Review our list of Prohibited Goods to ensure your items are accepted or see if they require special documentation. General items like standard fashion apparel are usually safe to ship and don't require extra paperwork.
Understand Duties: Be aware that the destination country may charge import duties & taxes that the recipient will need to pay before delivery.
2. Pack Your Goods Securely
Proper packaging ensures your shipment survives the long transit intact.
Use a new, sturdy cardboard box and ensure there is minimal empty space inside to keep your shipping costs cost-efficient.
Shipping clothes or non-fragile soft goods? If your items are under 2.5 kg, you can request free polymailer supplies (FedEx Large Pak). Just Contact Us or pick them up directly from the UrShipper Office.
⚠️ Important: All shipments must be fully packed before you hand them over to us. UrShipper does not offer a packing service.

3. Compare Shipping Rates
We recommend estimating your costs before creating your shipping label. You can instantly check live carrier rates on our Rate Calculator by entering:
The destination country, city, and postal code.
The package dimensions and weight.
Your preferred carrier service and insurance coverage.
⚠️ Note on Pricing: All rates displayed before handover are estimates. Final billing will be confirmed after your package is officially remeasured and reweighed at the UrShipper Office. Try to measure as accurately as possible to avoid unexpected price differences!
4. Create and Print Your Shipping Label
Log into your UrShipper Dashboard to generate your label. You will need to provide:
Contact details (names, addresses, emails, and phone numbers) for both sender and receiver.
A clear item description, quantity, and value for each product.
Accurate package dimensions and weight.
Once generated, print the label and secure it to your box. Do not cover or tape over the barcode, as our team needs to scan it to track your shipment.
💡 No Printer? No problem. Clearly write your Shipment ID (the unique code starting with
UR...found directly below the barcode) on the package using a permanent marker.
